I discovered this recipe when I was at a friend of mine. She served me for the first time in my life with this kind of dessert, despite it is a traditional Romanian food. There is no particular interesting story behind this recipe for me, but the taste compensates all the lack of spicy details that could enrich the story. For now, I am looking forward to discover new captivating things from this domain!

Method

  • Mix the cottage cheese with honey
  • Add the flour (or semolina) until the consistancy of a dough is reached
  • Make small balls from the dough
  • Next step is to boil them or to fry, according to the preferrence
  • It is served with jam
