This is why I miss my Mother :-
I am studying far from my home since last 8 years. So I always have to eat whatever is available to me or I have to cook for myself. When I realized that I am going to get married in November 2016 and I cant fit into my dream wedding dress, I started being conscious about what I am eating and started working out . I am from North India and right now I stay in Chennai which is in southern part where you can’t imagine your meal without white rice.It became difficult for me to avoid rice and rice flour items.Idlis are also traditionally made after soaking rice overnight or instantly from rice flour. Then once I called up my mom and she suggested me to make idlis with Rava and oats . Being Cooking enthusiast, I was so excited and I followed my mom’s recipe and it turned out very tasty. Traveling far from house Is not easy when it comes to your health, but being a great cook my mother always suggests me better alternatives and I have survived happily. So I could not wait to share this with my friends, people like me who keep thinking about delicious food cooked by mother and tired of eating oats as breakfast. So these idlis are steamed, include no spices and are made of most healthy ingredients. Every time I start experimenting new dishes I talk to my mother and hurray It ends up great. So this recipe is close to my heart and I hope I will be able to share more recipes and will learn more from others. sounds adventures ! getting goosebumps . 😀
