On the north coast of Peru, more than 55 000 men and women are artisinal fishers. Early in the morning they sail looking for the catch of the day.
Around 8am the landing begins. The ports employ many people: merchants, porters, cooks and conductors.
In the last years, the impoverishment of the Peruvian sea, due to illegal fishing practices, is affecting many families livehoods.
